Role Description

This is an on-site contract role for a Freelance Journalist at Travel And Tour World in Chicago, Illinois, United States for the event of IPW. The Freelance Journalist will be responsible for taking video interviews, exchanging business cards, news writing, broadcasting and creating press releases for the magazine.

• It is a 5-day job.
• The journalist will have to take on-site audio/video interviews, write and post articles, attend press conferences & seminars etc. during the show.
• The event is being held at Chicago, Illinois, United States from 14-18 June 2025.

Qualifications

• Experience in writing press releases, news articles, and conducting research
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Knowledge of broadcasting and journalism principles
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting
• Proficiency in digital media tools and platforms
• Experience in the travel and tourism industry is preferred
• Bachelor's degree in journalism, Communications, or related field
