Summary
The Communication Sciences and Disorders program invites expressions of interest for part-time adjunct faculty opportunities in clinical practicum supervision. CNHSB offers a B.A. in Communication Sciences and Disorders, an M.S. in Speech Language Pathology, and an undergraduate minor in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Adjunct clinical practicum supervision includes both on-campus and off-site locations at various Chicagoland sites.
Qualifications
- Master of Science Degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) through the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Current Illinois State Licensure through Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in clinical service delivery post-CCC
- Recent practice in speech-language pathology preferred
- Availability to work independently during late afternoons, evenings, and Saturday mornings preferred
- Work during active fall and spring semesters (16 weeks each)
- Strong time management, dependability, and creative problem-solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to integrate technology into clinical practice and supervision
- Enthusiasm for serving diverse student and client populations

We operate a progressive clinic utilizing electronic medical records, simulation labs, and therapeutic interventions, serving clients across the lifespan within speech-language pathology.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Communication and Sciences Disorders Program at CNHSB, recognized for excellence nationally and regionally, located in Chicagoland. CNHSB includes programs in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Business, Exercise Science, Sports and Fitness Administration, Nursing, and Gerontology studies.
