Re-Imagining Migration is seeking a dynamic Communications and Program Coordinator to support our mission in the migration, immigration, and education space through strategic communications and program development. This dual role is primarily a non-profit brand storyteller, combining creative communications work and partnership management, offering an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while representing our organization to diverse stakeholders.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Education, Public Administration, or related field preferred. Relevant experience and skills will be considered as well.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to represent an organization professionally
- Experience with social media platforms, content management systems, and email marketing tools
- Copywriting and copyediting skills
- Strong graphic design skills and proficiency with design software for creating multimedia and print materials
- Demonstrated organizational and project management abilities with attention to detail
- Experience working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and partners
- Maturity and professionalism are essential, as this role will regularly represent the organization publicly
Preferred:
- Experience in the nonprofit sector, education, or social justice organizations
- Knowledge of migration, immigration, and/or education policy areas
- Multilingual applicants are a plus
- Experience creating content for a brand voice
- Experience with database management and relationship tracking systems
- Familiarity with program evaluation and documentation practices
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data collection and reporting
- Proficiency in CapCut or a similar platform
- Proficiency with Canva or a similar platform
