Job Title: Content Marketing Specialist
Department: Marketing
Reporting to: VP of Marketing or Director of Marketing Content
Location: Baltimore Office or Remote
Hours of work: Typical hours of work are from 8:30 AM until 5:00 PM. Additional hours may be necessary as needed. This position is exempt from overtime.
Compensation: $72,000 annually

Overview:
InVita Healthcare Technologies, a leading provider of software solutions to the healthcare industry, seeks a Content Marketing Specialist in our Baltimore, MD office. We are looking for an experienced writer with a background in technical writing within the healthcare/software space, B2B marketing content exposure, and high-quality editorial content for websites and other projects. Candidates should have experience and be comfortable with creating content such as emails, corporate collateral, case studies, blog, and social media posts. A successful candidate will use excellent interview, research, writing, and editing skills to produce accurate and engaging content and contribute to a variety of other marketing projects. You will be working closely with the VP of Marketing and other marketing team members to help scale and grow the company.
Essential Functions:
Write copy for website landing pages, promotional materials, and email campaigns

Write content marketing and SEO articles for blogs, social media, and other projects as assigned

Edit or rewrite existing content to meet sales and marketing objectives

Research assigned topics and write articles as a subject-matter expert, conducting interviews and obtaining quotes as needed

Suggest email campaign and blog topics by researching SEO keywords and industry trends

Participate in weekly meetings with marketing team and others as needed

Travel to trade shows and client sites to conduct interviews and research

Assist with writing/content requests as directed

Produce and distribute tutorials to help end-users utilize a variety of applications

Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Excellent writing skills backed by strategic positioning and brand adherence

Experience writing for technology and/or healthcare a MUST

Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and add value immediately in a fast-paced environment

Demonstrated ability to work as both a team member and as an individual contributor

Bachelor’s degree in related area: writing, communications, journalism

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience: web content, blogs, and/or copywriting

Proven experience creating content that aligns with company style and brand guidelines

Excellent writer (have sample links ready)

Excellent oral communication skills (including in-person, phone, and email)

Basic knowledge of content marketing, Google Analytics and HubSpot
