The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that build brand awareness, engage with the Pavoi community, and drive sales through organic social content and campaigns.
Core Responsibilities
Live Shopping & Social Commerce
- Plan and execute regular live shopping events on TikTok Shop and Instagram Live
- Create engaging live shopping content strategies that drive real-time sales
- Manage TikTok Shop product listings, pricing, and inventory updates
- Coordinate with operations team to ensure smooth fulfillment of social commerce orders
- Train and manage live shopping hosts or conduct live sessions personally
- Monitor and optimize live shopping metrics including viewer retention, conversion rates, and sales
- Develop and maintain a content calendar across all social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest) aligned with marketing campaigns and product launches
- Create, curate, and edit engaging social media content including photos, videos, Reels, Stories, and written copy that reflects Pavoi's brand voice
- Manage day-to-day social media operations including community engagement, posting, and monitoring
- Collaborate with photographers, videographers, and influencers to produce high-quality content
- Set and track relevant KPIs including engagement rates, follower growth, and social-driven sales
- Analyze social media metrics and create regular reports on performance and insights
- Stay current with social media trends and platform updates, implementing new features and formats
- Optimize content strategy based on performance data and audience insights
- Build and lead a high-performing social media team, including content creators, community managers, and live shopping specialists
- Develop and implement training programs for team members on platform best practices and brand guidelines
- Establish clear KPIs and performance metrics for team members
- Manage workflow and content approval processes across multiple channels
- Mentor and coach team members to develop their skills and advance their careers
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (marketing, creative, e-commerce) to ensure aligned strategy and execution
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures for social media operations
- Lead regular team meetings and brainstorming sessions to drive innovation and improvement
- Experience with live shopping platforms (TikTok Shop, Instagram Live Shopping) and social commerce
- Demonstrated success in driving sales through social commerce channels
- Comfortable with live video presentation and real-time customer interaction
- 3-5 years of social media management experience, preferably in DTC, jewelry, or fashion
- Proven track record of growing engaged social media communities
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, best practices, and analytics
- Experience with content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
- Excel at both creative and analytical tasks
- Understanding of paid social media advertising
- Experience with UGC (User Generated Content) strategy and implementation
- Experience with e-commerce platforms (Shopify preferred)
- Photography and video editing skills
- Experience with social media management tools (Later, Hootsuite, etc.)
- Understanding of SEO and content optimization
- Experience with influencer marketing campaigns
- Knowledge of jewelry industry trends and market
- Live shopping metrics (viewers, engagement, conversion rate)
- TikTok Shop revenue and growth
- Social commerce conversion rates and average order value Success in this role will be measured by:
