Based on performance within the first 6 months About the Role Our client, a leading technology company headquartered in Mountain View, CA, is seeking a Senior UX Researcher to join their team on a 12-month contract. This role is fully remote, but candidates must be available to work standard business hours in Pacific Standard Time (PST). As a Senior UX Researcher, you will take a strategic role in shaping user experience initiatives. You’ll lead complex research efforts, guide cross-functional teams in making user-centered decisions, and influence high-impact product roadmaps. This role requires a balance of hands-on research execution and thought leadership to drive innovative, data-backed solutions. Key Responsibilities
Lead and design end-to-end research initiatives that drive product innovation and usability improvements. Conduct advanced qualitative and quantitative research, including usability testing, ethnographic studies, A/B testing, diary studies, and behavioral analytics. Synthesize large-scale research findings into compelling narratives that influence senior leadership and cross-functional teams. Develop and refine UX research frameworks, methodologies, and best practices. Mentor and collaborate with product designers, UX researchers, product managers, and engineers to embed user insights into design and development cycles. Leverage research tools such as UserTesting, Optimal Workshop, Qualtrics, Dovetail, Lookback, and Google Analytics to extract meaningful insights. Advocate for a research-driven product development culture and ensure a deep understanding of user needs, behaviors, and pain points. Qualifications
5+ years of UX research experience in digital products, enterprise software, or emerging technologies. Strong expertise in research methodologies, statistical analysis, and data visualization. Experience leading strategic research initiatives with executive-level impact. Ability to design and execute mixed-method research (qualitative and quantitative). Familiarity with AI-driven products, voice interfaces, or enterprise UX research is a plus. Strong leadership and storytelling skills to communicate findings effectively. Proficiency in research tools and frameworks, including qualitative usability testing platforms and behavioral analytics tools. Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Cognitive Science, Psychology, or related fields preferred. Why Join?
