The Hospitality Art Advisory team provides expert art consulting and bespoke art programming services for trade professionals across hospitality, residential, corporate, and healthcare categories.
About The Job
We are seeking a dynamic and creative individual to take on the role of The Other Art Fair Marketing Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the online presence of both The Other Art Fair and Saatchi Art, creating engaging, sales-driven, and brand-focused content. This is a remote role but requires traveling to fair cities on selected dates. There is a strong preference for candidates within the fair cities (Los Angeles, Dallas, Chicago, and New York).
Your work will directly contribute to driving sales and event attendance, enhancing brand desirability, and transforming our digital presence into a highly engaging and impactful platform. If you are passionate about content creation, social media strategy, and making a measurable impact, this is the role for you. By building and optimizing our email communications, managing event updates, and assisting with ticketing inquiries, you will play a vital role in strengthening connections with our artists, audience, and industry stakeholders. Your work will ensure a seamless experience for customers while driving newsletter sign-ups, database growth, and engagement at all levels of the marketing funnel.
You’ll Report To: The Other Art Fair Marketing Director
Responsibilities:
Social Media Management & Content Creation
- Plan and execute organic social media strategies, including copywriting, scheduling, audience engagement, and collaboration with sponsors, artists, and organizations.
- Develop creative ideation and execute quality content for organic use on social channels.
- Capture (as needed) and edit video and audio, design promotional assets, and implement SEO best practices to maximize reach and visibility.
- Prepare and deliver guides and best practices for brand and tone of voice relevant to organic social ensuring successful implementation across all Fair weekends.
- Leverage insights from content marketing trends to improve performance, focusing on increasing sponsorship and sales.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align social media activities with business goals.
- Assist with managing influencer collaborations and delivering insights from organic social results to inform strategy.
Email Marketing
- Assist with building email marketing campaigns to engage artists, audiences, and industry stakeholders.
Website Management
- Execute content updates, ensuring timely and accurate information is reflected on the website.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement web updates that encourage newsletter sign-ups and engagement.
Ticketing & Customer Service Support
- Work within ticketing systems, handling customer inquiries and resolving issues to ensure a positive experience.
- Assist in building detailed customer profiles to improve service and tailor future communications.
Reporting
- Support the team in gathering and analyzing data across marketing channels, which can include email, social media, website performance, partner collaborations, artist engagement, and ticket sales.
- Provide actionable insights to refine strategies and improve performance across channels.
Qualifications:
- 2 years professional working experience in marketing or event marketing and an interest in content creation, social media, and copywriting.
- Proven experience in content creation, including video editing, comfort with voice recordings/voiceovers, audio editing, and graphic design (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
- Demonstrable expertise in social media strategy and platform-specific trends across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, and Spotify.
- Strong understanding of SEO and digital content optimization.
- Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to tailor tone and messaging for diverse audiences.
- Analytical mindset with experience in reporting and performance tracking using tools like Google Analytics, Meta Insights, and similar platforms.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Bonus: Familiarity with the art and events industry, as well as a passion for creative industries.
- Availability and willingness to travel select dates out of the year to be on-site for US Fairs. (Typically 4 - 5 days at a time).
Compensation:
The base pay for this role is between USD $25/hour and USD $28/hour.
