We feel the following qualifications would set you up for success in this role: Technical Skills: Experience with AutoCAD/Civil3D software is preferred Comparable experience with Microstation/PowerGeopak/Inroads (OpenRoads Connect or SS4), coupled with the willingness and capability to learn AutoCAD/Civil3D is also acceptable
Soft Skills: Effective oral communication and technical writing ability Seeking upward growth opportunities; future opportunities to advance to client, project, or technical leadership roles within Hanson are available with satisfactory performance Ability to translate scope requirements into clear and concise deliverables that meet client requirements while meeting budget and schedule requirements Demonstrated ability to communicate and grow relationships with all levels of staff within internal and external agencies and clients Interest in and willingness to learn about the planning and design of inland ports, river terminals, multimodal freight facilities, freight logistics and industrial site development is required
Education/Experience: A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field is required 0-10 years of general civil engineering experience with an emphasis on site development Experience with ports, river terminals, rail, and/or roadway engineering is a plus Successfully passed FE exam or scheduled to take before graduation Professional Engineer license and/or AICP certification is a plus
