Base pay range $25.00/yr - $38.00/yr Job Description: We are looking for a UI visual designer who will work with us to design and extend an advanced neuroimaging data repository. The ideal designer is proficient in Figma, capable of creating interactive and reusable components that promote collaboration and consistency. The designer excels at using Figma to design consistent and visually appealing web page user interfaces. A basic understanding of HTML and CSS is essential to collaborate effectively with our developers in building and maintaining a cohesive and pixel-perfect design system. To qualify for this position, the designer must have experience working on complex projects and possess excellent communication skills. This includes the ability to work well with others in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: Design User-Centered Interfaces: Work closely with the team to understand design challenges and create intuitive, accessible, visually appealing, and consistent high-quality interfaces across various devices. Maintain Figma UI Toolkit: Extend and sustain a Figma UI toolkit comprising unified, reusable, flexible, and interactive components, complete with well-documented visual guidelines that align with the product's personality. Collaborate with Developers: Partner with front-end developers to achieve pixel-perfect implementations and harmonize component logic between Figma designs and front-end code. Develop Prototypes: Help to create high-quality mock-ups and interactive prototypes for user testing and feedback. Enhance Branding: Evolve and maintain the product's branding and style by interpreting the product's personality from both stakeholder and user perspectives. Create Visual Content: Develop concepts and artwork for identity design and branding across print, digital, and online mediums. Produce Marketing Materials: Understand the purpose and design creative solutions following branding guidelines for websites, illustrations, videos, animations, publications, infographics, brochures, flyers, and posters. Implement Design Standards: Work with clients to establish and execute design standards and solutions. Quality Assurance: Collaborate with team members to perform quality control on final products, incorporating industry best practices to ensure quality. Pay Rate: $34-37/hr, 6 month contract to full-time hire on salary! Benefit options available on contract through IG.
