Job Summary

The Department of Music at GCSU is seeking a pool of part-time faculty to teach various music courses on an as-needed basis each semester. Assignments may include day, evening, or online classes.

Responsibilities

• Teaching and/or serving as an academic assistant for assigned music courses.
• Possible courses include Music Appreciation, GC1Y, applied instruction in voice, strings, woodwinds, percussion, brass, chamber ensembles, and other departmental needs.
• Participation in auditions, juries, clinics, and performances outside regular class hours.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree required; terminal degree or equivalent preferred.
• Degrees in Music Performance, Education, Musicology, Music Therapy, or related fields.
• College teaching experience preferred.
