This is a hybrid position with 3 days in the San Francisco office per week.Responsibilities:COLOR, MATERIAL, & FINISH — ELECTRICS & ANALOG
Coordinate with our design partners to deliver & review trend research, creative direction, strategy, and design renders at the collection and product level.Manage seasonal color swatch library in both physical and digitally calibrated formats. Responsible for color swatch ordering, management, measurement, physical color tools creation, and sending to suppliers.Responsible for getting prototypes and samples executed to reflect color specs, driving alignment on final golden samples.Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, & Brand to drive executive alignment on a ratified specification, then delivered & maintained with our factory partners.Collaborate with the Quality team to land a successful color matching process for NPI programs.Work with Category Management, Sales, and Product in the creation of color derivatives aligned with business goals, consumer needs, and brand stories.INDUSTRIAL DESIGN, MARKINGS, & PRODUCT BRANDING — ELECTRICS
Coordinate with our design partners to manage the industrial design process for NPI programs from concept phase through product development.Responsible for getting design renders, prototypes & samples delivered, reviewed, and down-selected, as well as coordinating updates to existing markings & branding.Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, & Brand to drive executive alignment on a ratified specification to deliver to our factory partners & maintain.PACKAGING — ELECTRICS & ANALOG
Schedule & facilitate design reviews, working sessions, and kickoffs with cross-functional stakeholders and packaging vendors for packaging concepts.Facilitate the creation, updating, and maintenance of artwork for packaging & its related inserted materials alongside Brand, Product, and Sales.Coordinate with partners regarding scope, prioritization, roadblocks, questions, delays etc.Core Qualifications:4+ years of experience in consumer products as a product operations / program manager, industrial designer, cmf designer, or customer-facing product partner.Knowledge of hardware design and development processes, as well as broad understanding of product, packaging print, and industrial design.Strong leadership, collaboration, communication and project management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in design, engineering, or related discipline.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to convey complicated topics in easily understandable terms to a diverse set of external and internal stakeholders.High attention to design and its necessary details, with a proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously with minimal supervision in ambiguous environments.A passion for physical products - not just the way they look but also how they work and how they feel to the customer.High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously with minimal supervision in ambiguous environments.Successfully spun up zero-to-one processes or systems that have made an impact on how teams operate and made them more successful.Passionate about translating needs between a wide audience of stakeholders and developing strong partnerships with partners, tech team, and operating at leadership levels.Salary Range:
