Public Sector Senior Product Marketing Manager,
you will drive go-to-market strategies tailored to meet the unique needs of key verticals, including government, education, healthcare, and public safety. Your role will focus on positioning NinjaOne’s solutions to address the regulatory, compliance, and operational challenges specific to these industries, while leading efforts to break into the public sector and drive market expansion. You’ll craft differentiated positioning, develop compelling messaging, and equip sales teams with the necessary tools to effectively address public sector challenges. Working cross-functionally with product, sales, demand generation, and enablement teams, you’ll ensure that NinjaOne’s solutions resonate with public sector decision-makers and align with evolving market demands. Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing, this role requires a deep understanding of the public sector landscape, exceptional interpersonal skills, a passion for market growth, and the ability to work independently while collaborating closely with internal teams to drive success.

for key industry events, product launches, and customer engagements. What You’ll Be Doing Market-Driven Differentiation Develop and refine sector-specific messaging and positioning to address the unique regulatory requirements and business challenges within the public sector.
Craft compelling narratives that differentiate NinjaOne’s offerings by highlighting their benefits and addressing pain points for government agencies, educational institutions, healthcare providers, and public safety organizations.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for differentiation and continuous refinement of our offerings.
Work closely with the upstream Product Marketing team to ensure that vertical-specific use cases meet regulatory, security, and compliance standards.
Identify and define vertical-specific solutions, such as bundles or offerings, that address the distinct needs of public sector customers.
Strategic Go-to-Market Leadership Lead product launches specific to the public sector, ensuring alignment across product, marketing, and sales teams to drive awareness, adoption, and growth.
Develop Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) for public sector segments, taking into account procurement processes, regulatory compliance, and specific buyer personas.
Collaborate with demand generation to design and execute campaigns that resonate with decision-makers in the public sector.
Leverage industry-specific procurement channels, contracts, and funding sources to drive adoption and increase market penetration.
Sales Enablement Create sales enablement content tailored for the public sector, including playbooks, battlecards, pitch decks, and case studies that highlight public sector success stories.
Train and provide ongoing support for sales teams to ensure alignment with key vertical messaging, positioning, and procurement processes.
Equip sales teams with the tools and knowledge needed to navigate industry-specific buying cycles and effectively position NinjaOne’s solutions in government, education, healthcare, and public safety sectors.
Thought Leadership & Market Influence Establish NinjaOne as a thought leader in the public sector by producing whitepapers, webinars, and research reports that address the unique IT challenges of government, education, healthcare, and public safety sectors.
Engage with industry associations, analysts, and key public sector stakeholders to build and strengthen NinjaOne’s presence in target markets.
Represent NinjaOne at key industry events, speaking engagements, and roundtables relevant to public sector markets, including government, education, healthcare, and public safety.
Operations, Data, Insights & Analytics Monitor public sector market trends, regulatory changes, and dynamics to refine strategies and stay ahead of evolving industry needs.
Conduct win/loss analysis and gather customer insights to continuously improve messaging, product fit, and market strategies.
Track and report on KPIs, including lead generation, pipeline contribution, and sales cycle velocity for public sector verticals, ensuring alignment with growth objectives.
Streamline processes to ensure efficient delivery of public sector messaging and content.
About You You bring 4+ years of experience in product marketing, particularly in B2B software, IT management, or technology solutions.
With 3+ years in
SLED, Federal Civilian, DoD, public & private EDU, healthcare,
and
public safety , you have a strong understanding of their business models, regulatory challenges, procurement processes, and buyer personas.
You excel at crafting compelling messaging and executing go-to-market (GTM) strategies that resonate with public sector decision-makers, backed by impactful presentations to all levels.
You’ve collaborated with sales enablement, content creation, and demand gen teams, with a particular strength in demand gen tailored for the public sector.
Translating complex tech concepts into clear, accessible messaging for public sector organizations is one of your core skills.
Managing cross-functional projects in highly regulated environments has consistently driven results for your company.
Data-driven decision-making is second nature, supported by your strong analytical skills and expertise in market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights.
Building and scaling streamlined processes to improve efficiency in public sector GTM activities comes naturally to you.
You are passionate about coaching sales and customer teams, approaching challenges with patience and empathy.
Helping others navigate the intricacies of public sector tech and procurement excites you, and you believe in the power of relationship-building to drive success.
Recognized as a thought leader in the public sector, you leverage your industry influence to elevate both the company and yourself.
Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft, Confluence, Highspot, Salesloft, Pardot, Zoom, Asana, Salesforce, and public sector-specific tools.
Bonus points if you hold an active security clearance.

NOT
eligible for Visa sponsorship. *Due to operational policies, NinjaOne is unable to hire for this role within the city limits of Chicago. We will consider all qualified candidates who reside outside of the city proper or are willing to self-relocate. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to location, market demands, experience, job-related knowledge, and skills. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage and PTO. For roles based in California or Colorado, the base salary hiring range for this position is $135,000 to $150,000 per year.
