Dallas/Flower Mound, TX / This is a hybrid position requiring an onsite presence of 2x days per week.

Position Summary:
In this Interior Designer position, you will deliver world-class design to Benco customers by carrying out the Benco Design Philosophy. The Benco Dental Designer will work as part of a collaborative design team to provide dental space planning, dental specifications, and design support. Dental specifications to include equipment plans, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry details. The Dental Designer will support the Interior Design staff by providing redline corrections, revision input, elevations, conceptual details, and renderings.

- Strong knowledge of interior design concepts, space planning, construction documents, and procedures
- Comfortable giving presentations and holding meetings with team members and clients
- Must have the ability to work collaboratively with individuals throughout Benco and value a strong team-oriented approach
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
Do These Responsibilities Interest YOU?
- Prepare Dental Specifications
- Work on new customer planning projects and revisions
- Work on renderings and 3D modeling
- Be knowledgeable with all space planning concepts necessary to produce effective space plans
- Be knowledgeable with all information needed from Benco sales team to prepare dental specifications
- Meet with customers, in person or electronically, occasionally including evenings and weekends, as part of VIP Experiences or web-casts
- Educate and promote design offerings to salesforce via VIPs, SharePoint, and special events
- Attend at least one design seminar annually to participate in client 1:1s and to take advantage of the educational opportunity
- Be willing to be flexible with work schedule, potentially including nights/weekends and outside the standard 40-hour work week on an as-needed basis to accommodate workload
- On-site visits with interior customers as required
- 10-15% travel as needed
Do YOU Meet These Requirements?
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited college
- Interior Designer I: 1-3 years' experience / Interior Designer II: 4-6 years' experience in the architecture or design field
- Experience in commercial (preferably health care) space planning and interiors (including selecting finishes and lighting)
- Proficient in AutoCAD platform, Microsoft Office Suite, Photoshop, and Adobe
- Construction knowledge a plus
