Position: Senior Interior Designer - Aviation Terminal Architecture

What You'll Do:

1. Assist with architectural documentation and develop 3D concepts. Lead designer on small to medium sized projects, or limited scope of a larger project.
2. Plan and conduct tasks requiring independent judgment in the analysis of design, planning, programming studies, and design layouts.
3. Take initiative on tactical and strategic issues for space planning options or design direction. Bring forward new ideas and methods.
4. Confer with other interior designers, architects, and engineers for the purpose of explaining and interpreting interior design standards, codes, and regulations.
5. Assist in the preparation of project specifications, compiling and analyzing relevant data.
6. Prepare presentations and keep others informed.
7. Assist with material and color selection.
8. Assist with furniture selection, layouts, and specifications.
9. Act as task lead on small to medium sized projects, or limited scope of a larger project.
10. Be responsible for communication with project team, consultants, and clients on small to medium size projects.
11. Work independently to achieve project goals, milestones, and deliverables with oversight from senior team members.
12. Provide mentoring to less experienced team members relative to projects and career development.
13. Participate in quality implementation plans, including scheduling for QC reviews and compiling comments in project documents.
14. Support business development efforts under the supervision of senior team members.
15. Be responsive to client budgets, able to assist value engineering efforts with client and contractor.
16. Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or Interior Design and 8 years of relevant experience.

Compensation:

The approximate pay range for Los Angeles Metro Area and Orange County, CA is $105,071.01 - $164,341.84. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
