Watershedd is seeking an interior designer to join its team in London.
Watershedd is an architecture and interior design studio based in London, specialising in high-end new builds and refurbishments. With a diverse portfolio of projects, particularly in Cornwall, we are known for our refined aesthetic, attention to detail, and seamless integration of architecture and interiors.
We are looking for a talented senior interior designer to join our team. This role is ideal for a creative and driven designer with experience in high-end residential projects, a strong understanding of materials and detailing, and the ability to manage projects from concept to completion.
Key responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the design team to develop concepts and deliver outstanding interiors for luxury residential projects.
- Produce detailed drawing packages, mood boards, and FF&E specifications.
- Oversee procurement and liaise with suppliers, contractors, and artisans to ensure design intent is achieved.
- Co-ordinate with architects and consultants to ensure a cohesive design approach.
- Manage multiple projects at different stages, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
- Conduct site visits in London and Cornwall to oversee installations and project progress.
Skills and experience required:
- Four plus years’ of experience in high-end residential interior design.
- Proficiency in Vectorworks, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant design software.
- Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and bespoke joinery detailing.
- Experience with FF&E sourcing, specification, and procurement.
- Ability to produce high-quality presentations and technical drawings.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in liaising with clients and suppliers.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and work under deadlines.
