Job Summary
FordDirect is looking to hire an Intern within the Marketing team for our Summer 2025 Internship Program. This position will provide exposure to product marketing, branding, dealer communications and working with internal teams. This is an excellent opportunity to obtain real-world, business experience on a Marketing team. The ideal candidate will have an interest in working in a corporate marketing setting and creating visual marketing materials.
This will be a full-time, paid position based in Dearborn, MI
Hybrid: Intern will be required to work in the Dearborn, MI office every Tuesday and Wednesday
Duration: June 9th through August 13th, 2025
Essential Functions
- Attend FordDirect's New Employee Orientation program.
- Assist the team representative on a variety of tasks such as creating marketing materials, interacting with teams, attending meetings, and more.
- Develop and execute Social Media campaigns to support key product marketing initiatives
- Coordinate projects working with Marketing and field team to assign buyer personas to Salesforce for a market area.
- Learn marketing automation software, assist with QA and deployment of campaign emails.
- Analyze marketing metrics to make recommendations for improved customer (dealer) engagement.
- Gain exposure to key aspects of the go-to-market plan execution and how to leverage marketing automation software and social media for product campaigns.
- Assignment of segmentation within SalesForce CRM and social platforms will establish foundation for future targeting strategies of our Dealer customers.
- Gain knowledge in building consistency of customer (dealer) experience across digital platforms in B2B environment.
- Development and leadership of process workflows to enhance marketing team efficiency
- How to measure and track marketing effectiveness across engagement channels.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Excellent organization, analytical and time management skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment
- Exceptional interpersonal and business communication skills, i.e., written, verbal, listening)
- Interest in marketing technology (e.g., web design, marketing automation, social media)
- Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member with a positive 'can do' attitude
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Education
Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor's Degree majoring in Marketing, Business, Communications, Economics
