Role Description & Responsibilities

Our SIMULIA UX Components & Methods team is excited to announce we have an internship opportunity available in our Mason, OH office!

Our team is responsible for various common UX components used in many of SIMULIA's apps. These components allow users to review data within their Simulation make sure they get the results they want. We also are responsible for a component that guides the user through developing a Simulation.

In this role, your focus would be on component improvements and quality:

• Support our web-based components by:
• Implementing identified enhancements
• Interactively testing using internal and customer models. This includes documenting bugs and potential user experience enhancements
• Writing test cases to detect regressions

• Support our native components by:
• Write/update test cases to improve our code coverage percentage
• Re-record test cases so that we can remove old versioning code

• Participate in mini-tests
• Possibly fix bugs (IRs) to bring our numbers down

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a college or university for the duration of the internship
• Coding experience in one or two programing languages (Javascript, json, C++)
• Takes direction and guidance from others, adopts and develops best practices and navigates around obstacles creatively
• Highly motivated, able to shift directions quickly when priorities change
• Exhibits strong organizational skills and detail orientation
• Ability to work independently and/or within a collaborative team structure

In addition to working with your direct team, as a member of Dassault Systemes NAM Intern Program you will be invited to our Speaker Series, Lunch and Learns, Networking Events and employee functions.

This is a 6-month, full time paid co-op, with flexible start date in 2024. This internship is based at the Dassault Systemes Simulia Corp office located at 5181 Natorp Boulevard, Suite 205, Mason, OH 45040.

Compensation for the role will be commensurate with experience. The total expected compensation range will be between $20 - $24 per hour.
