We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Internal Communications Leader to drive employee engagement and foster a well-informed workforce. This role will oversee the design and execution of communication strategies that align with business objectives, promote company culture, and keep employees engaged and informed. The ideal candidate will leverage innovative communication tools and platforms to effectively reach a global workforce and ensure impactful messaging.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive internal communications strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives and culture.
- Manage and optimize internal communication channels (e.g., intranet, email, newsletters, videos) to ensure timely, relevant, and engaging content.
- Collaborate with business units, departments, and leadership to tailor communications to various audiences and priorities.
- Act as a key liaison between stakeholders to spotlight upcoming processes, events, and milestones.
- Create clear, concise, and visually compelling communications to inform and engage employees globally.
- Lead the coordination of internal emergency response communications in partnership with the Security and Emergency Response Team.
- Monitor, measure, and report on the effectiveness of communication initiatives through feedback, engagement surveys, and metrics.
- Stay ahead of communication trends and technologies to enhance reach and engagement.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or a related role, preferably in a global or multi-site organization.
- Proven ability to design and execute communication strategies that drive engagement and alignment.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities effectively.
- Experience with a variety of communication technologies and platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Slack, video platforms).
- Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills with a focus on clarity and audience adaptation.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively across different methods and audiences.
- Proficient in structuring complex information into clear, concise, and engaging messaging.
- Collaborative mindset to work independently and with cross-functional teams to develop and execute content.
- Strategic and creative thinker, capable of problem-solving and adapting to rapidly changing business needs.
- High level of cultural awareness and ability to communicate across diverse, global workforces.
