We are seeking a motivated and versatile Marketing Specialist to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a marketing generalist passionate about supporting various initiatives, including event planning, digital and social media marketing, and administrative tasks.
The successful candidate will execute internal and external events, manage logistics, engage with customers, and support team operations. This position offers the chance to collaborate closely with marketing and sales teams and gain exposure across key marketing functions.
Candidates should be willing and able to work from our Duluth, GA office five days a week as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute a range of marketing events such as trade shows, customer dinners, webinars, conferences, and team outings.
- Manage event logistics from venue research to on-site setup and performance reporting.
- Support the distribution of promotional items and marketing collateral.
- Collaborate with third-party agencies and vendors for design, logistics, and promotional materials.
- Assist in campaign execution and team alignment with sales and marketing teams.
- Provide administrative support for ongoing marketing initiatives, meetings, and reporting.
- Contribute to email and social media efforts, including content ideas and scheduling.
- Coordinate with external agencies for direct mail assets, oversee creative direction, and manage post-campaign follow-up strategies.
- Build rapport with leadership and executive teams as part of daily collaboration.
Preferred (But Not Required):
- Experience with Salesforce and/or HubSpot.
- Interest or exposure to digital marketing and social media tools.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of general marketing experience, including event coordination.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to occasionally travel (up to 25%) for regional or national events.
- Proactive, team-oriented attitude willing to contribute wherever needed.
- BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
