Join the Virtual Expert Platform team as a Service Designer Intern and help shape the future of how Intuit customers connect with experts! You'll be immersed in a dynamic environment where you'll apply your service design skills to create exceptional experiences that leverage AI-driven technology. As a key contributor to our team, you'll work alongside experienced designers and product managers to translate user needs and business goals into intuitive and impactful solutions.

Effective at communication and presentation with expertise conveying ideas and concepts through storyboarding, wireframing, and prototyping.

Experience facilitating collaboration sessions using Figjam, Miro and other tools to co-create.
Additionally requirements:

Currently enrollment in a graduate-level, degree-seeking academic program: MDes, MA or MFA Service Design, MS Design, or related field.

Anticipating graduation no earlier than December 2025.

Residing in the U.S. during the summer internship program (see location below).
How you will lead
-
Scoping and planning your project, with pre-defined goals and boundaries.

Clearly and concisely synthesize and analyze both quant/qual data and insights to help drive design decisions and iterations, with guidance from senior designers and stakeholders.

Create ecosystem maps, user journeys, service blueprints, storyboards and prototypes that make the end-to-end service design tangible.

Design and host workshops to engage stakeholders around the overall experience and drive cross-functional alignment.

Frame and tell the story of design Present the communication of research findings, conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale both verbally and visually.

Bring passion and energy around the Service Design craft, and help the team shift from a product mindset, to a service and platform mindset.
