We are looking for a talented and passionate Enterprise Technology Product Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing intuitive and engaging user business experiences for our timekeeping and scheduling applications. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to create innovative solutions that meet the needs of our users and drive business goals. Your expertise in user-centered design, visual design, and interaction design will be critical to the success of our products.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
- Analyze user data and feedback to identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation.
- Develop user personas, user journey maps, and other design artifacts to communicate user insights to the team.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to illustrate the structure and functionality of timekeeping and scheduling applications.
- Design intuitive and efficient user interfaces that simplify complex tasks and improve user satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Effectively communicate design ideas and rationale to the team.
- Plan and conduct usability testing to evaluate the effectiveness of designs.
- Analyze usability testing results and iterate on designs based on user feedback.
- Continuously improve the user experience of our timekeeping and scheduling applications.
- Stay up to date on the latest trends and best practices in product design, user experience, and timekeeping/scheduling technology.
- Experiment with new design tools and techniques to improve our design process.

Experience Required
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer or Technical Business Analyst
- Experience in a Manufacturing environment - automotive is a plus
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with data visualization and dashboard design.
- Strong organizational, planning and time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively
- Strong analytical abilities including experience with in-depth problem analysis and the ability to match solutions to customer expectations
- Visual Design, User Research, Prototyping, Wireframing, Usability Testing, Design Tools (Figma, Looker, Qliksense)
- Functional experience with Payroll, Benefits, Timekeeping, Accruals, Leave Management, Employee Scheduling, Attendance Management and Labor Forecasting systems.
- Experience with timekeeping and scheduling applications (WorkForce Software, Kronos, Workday, etc.) is highly preferred.
- Time & Attendance: Knowledge of timekeeping regulations, shift patterns, and exception handling.
- Absence Management: Understanding of absence policies, accrual calculations, and absence tracking.
- Scheduling: Knowledge of scheduling best practices, optimization techniques, and employee preferences.
- Reporting: Requires understanding of timekeeping, absence, and scheduling processes and data to provide reports used for auditing and managing the data.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Looker, Qliksense, or similar.
- Integration Skills: The solution will integrate with other systems like payroll, human resources, and accounting software.
- Experience with API integrations (REST, SOAP), ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and data mapping is critical.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Pay Range:
$ 57.00 - $ 63.00
