Overview
The in-house Media and Brand Creator will focus on J&W Heating and Air + Plumbing's marketing initiatives to create a brand and social media strategy that aligns with the company's goal of employee engagement, customer relations, and community involvement. This role will take ownership of the social media and content creation for an established home services brand to manage the company's culture and engage customers within the community.
The ideal candidate will have an understanding of social platform best practices, an aptitude to encourage others, positively affect company culture and a knack for networking within a community. This is a strategic and creative role. Candidates who have experience in shooting social content, editing videos, and graphic design are strongly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Be a Culture Champion - by broadcasting the brand mission and values through various channels
- Spearheaded the development and execution of social media strategies to grow online presence
- Digital content creation for media posts and blogs - video and graphic.
- Plan and coordinate employee-focused fun events
- Identify and lead community engagement opportunities
- Engage in Networking Opportunities
- Manage Brand Reputation by responding publicly to customer feedback or reviews
Skills/Experience
- Experience in content creation, social media management, and email marketing
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Impeccable attention to detail, great judgment, highly creative and excellent writing skills
- Must have a knowledge and love of internet culture and digital video landscape.
- Ability to take a content concept from ideation to execution - inclusive of capturing and editing content
- Organized, proactive and collaborative with ability to toggle between analytical and creative mindsets
- Great interpersonal and verbal communication skills with the ability to lead presentations effectively
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, brand management, social media strategy, and content creation.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
