The ideal candidate is hyper-organized with a sharp eye for detail and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This person is a creative strategist who understands how to drive ROI and meaningful business connections from every event. This person will develop pre-event outreach campaigns to maximize booth traffic and on-site meetings, design booth experiences that are the talk of the show, execute seamlessly on-site, and implement post-event follow up processes that convert event leads into pipeline.
Role Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all aspects of industry conferences and trade shows that Pendo attends
- Develop creative, boundary-pushing booth concepts and interative experiences that differentiate our brand and drive meaningful engagement
- Own event logistics, including vendor managment, booth design, staffing schedules, and budget tracking
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer success teams to create targeted pre-event outreach campaigns to drive booth traffic and secure high-value meeting opportunities
- Manage lead capture, follow-up processes, and post-event reporting to maximize pipeline generation and conversion rates
- Implement data-driven approaches to track and analyze event performance
- Identify new event opportunities and negotiate sponsorships that align with our business objectives
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in event management, ideally within a B2B, SaaS, or a similarly dynamic and high-growth environment
- Proven track record of successfully managing industry events that drive business results
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to blend creativity with operational rigor, approaching each detail with a strategic mindset while maintaining a hands-on approach to execution
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build and sustain relationships and collaborate effectively across diverse teams
- Adaptable and composed in fast-paced environments, showing a high degree of initiative and resourcefulness
- Ability to travel as needed for events
Preferred Qualifications:
- Creative mindset with a passion for experiential marketing
- Demonstrated success in driving event-generated pipeline
- Strong background in the B2B SaaS industry, with an understanding of its unique event and audience engagement dynamics
- High-level proficiency in Google Suite, Salesforce, Vendelux, event technology platforms, and lead capture tools

Compensation
Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide.
The expected base salary range for this role in the following location is:
San Francisco, CA is $100,000 - $123,200
New York, NY is $90,000 - $115,000
Individual pay rate decisions, including offers made within and over the expected salary range, are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.
