StreetLight is seeking a driven Product Marketing Manager to join the Product Marketing team, where you will play a crucial role in working across the full product lifecycle, from helping drive launches to growing product adoption post-launch. This role will own leading the product marketing GTM efforts for one of our product lines — focused on bringing new products to market, expanding product reach and driving revenue. Your work will encompass the following responsibilities: messaging, go-to-market strategy for product launches, customer insight, sales enablement, and competitive intelligence.
Location: Remote in United States. The role will report to a manager based in San Francisco, CA.
Responsibilities:
Define and execute product marketing strategies to drive growth and increase revenue for StreetLight’s products
Manage new product launch efforts including owning GTM plans, end-to-end project management and the development of core content to support the launch objectives
Create effective messaging and positioning for StreetLight products, including audience-relevant product narratives that clearly communicate value proposition
Collaborate extensively within the Marketing team and with key stakeholders on the Product, Market Development, Sales, and Data Science teams to bring our products to market
Enable the sales teams with training and marketing materials to understand the value of our products and competitive solutions and empower them to communicate effectively across a range of use cases
Develop compelling high-impact customer-facing content, including anything from website updates to pitch decks to webinars to one-page flyers, that clearly communicate value
Conduct ongoing research to be the expert on our buyer personas, their value system, and their decision criteria
Serve as a subject matter expert for the industry and competitive environment to influence product development and continually assess our product marketing strategy to meet market and customer needs
5+ years in Product Marketing or a related role.
Track record of successful product marketing experience, with a focus on defining and driving go-to-market strategies, expanding product reach, and driving revenue.
Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation skills, and the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders such as sales teams, executives, customers, cross-functional partners
Experience leading cross-functional collaboration and end-to-end project management, including ability to lead multiple projects at a time and prioritize high impact activities.
Comfortable presenting succinctly to senior executive management, large audiences, and technical practitioners.
Proven track record of creating customer-facing content that aligns to buying stages and increases conversion rates and compelling presentations and collateral.
Self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced environment impacted by the evolving needs of a dynamic transportation industry and enjoys problem-solving.
Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data and deliver clear, actionable insights.
Experience with the Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Excel) is a must.
Open, honest, direct and respectful communicator, a collaborative team player that knows how to work with others to get things done in a positive manner.
Preferred:
Experience with enterprise software or data products
Experience and/or knowledge in transportation planning, urban planning, or transportation operations is a plus
Experience working with directly with sales teams is a plus
