Senior Interior Designer
to join our team in Dublin, OH. We are a growing hospitality design, procurement, and custom manufacturing firm looking for a talented interior designer and team leader. You should be highly creative, collaborative, and experienced in creating memorable environments, from storytelling to installation. Experience with top hospitality brands like Marriott, Hilton, and IHG is preferred. Position Overview:
The Interior Designer is responsible for developing and implementing project design concepts across all phases, from schematic to construction. Mentoring and team leadership are key components of this role. Professionalism and sound judgment are essential. Responsibilities include: Color, texture, and pattern selection, with knowledge of durability standards and installation methods. Choosing finishes and furnishings, managing material research and costing, and coordinating with manufacturers. Creating specifications and coordinating FF&E and lighting installations. Understanding hotel standards, fire codes, and ADA requirements. Producing digital presentations using InDesign and Photoshop. Preparing plans, imagery, and material palettes for client and brand approvals. Leading projects from concept through construction with minimal supervision. Participating in site visits and field measurements. Leading design teams in concept development and research. Reviewing purchase orders, RFIs, and shop drawings. Ensuring design compliance with contractual and client requirements. Leading charrettes and ensuring design consistency and quality. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design (required). NCIDQ certification (preferred). Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Google SketchUp, and Microsoft Office. 2-5 years of commercial design experience, with hospitality experience preferred. Strong research, presentation, and technical skills in design and specifications. Experience working with hospitality suppliers and understanding of hotel standards and codes. Additional Details: Salary is negotiable, with reviews after 90 days. Benefits include health, dental, vision insurance, paid time off, and flexible scheduling.
