Academy of Art University is seeking a Lab Technician, 3D Animation & Visual Effects for our Spring 2025 Semester. This position works closely with our students, faculty and staff assisting with all areas of the lab operation. This is an on-site position, in San Francisco.

Responsibilities:

• Perform junior-level network administration for Windows and Mac network environment
• Perform software and hardware installation, troubleshooting and upgrades
• Assist students with any software/hardware issues that may arise
• Work in coordination with the front desk to ensure the smooth workflow
• Provide support and assistance to the Department Director
• Provide support to department for Spring Show and other events as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service. Provide a cordial and friendly presence to students, faculty and staff.
• Maintain guidelines set forth by the Academy of Art University
• Maintain a clean, functional and productive learning environment
• Protect equipment from theft or vandalism

Compensation:

$22.00 per hour
