You’ll be involved in all aspects of product development from brainstorming the next innovation to working collaboratively with user research, engineering, and product management to bring it to life.We are looking for a Principal UX designer that loves learning and is passionate about conceiving experiences in the abstract and then driving that vision into solid design deliverables such as complex workflows, wireframes, user interface designs, interaction models, and prototypes. Own the UX of an emerging product with impact across Amazon.Create user-centered designs by considering market analysis, data, customer feedback, user research, and technical constraints/opportunities.Quickly and thoroughly create user flows, wireframes, design mockups, and prototypes to effectively conceptualize new product initiatives.Relentlessly simplify and distill complex processes into intuitive and elegant UI.Establish and maintain detailed user-interface patterns and specifications—working closely with developers to see your design through to deployment.Communicate complex, interactive design concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.Partner closely with other product and design teams across Amazon.Mentor junior talent.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

10+ years of design experience.Experience with best practices for User Interface Design, Information Architecture, and Interaction Design.Experience in life cycle design projects from design strategy through execution.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The base pay for this position ranges from $131,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $244,000/year in our highest geographic market.
