Saint David Catholic School in Davie is hiring a dynamic and qualified full-time Music Teacher to join our faculty for the 2025–26 school year. This position includes teaching general music to students in Pre-K through 8th Grade and leading music for liturgical celebrations. The ideal candidate is a faith-filled educator with a passion for music, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of Catholic liturgy.

The Music Teacher performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Archdiocese of Miami and Saint David Catholic School.Salary will vary based on certification and years of service.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Music.
• Florida Department of Education (FDOE) Teaching Certificate – Temporary or Professional required.
• Roman Catholic in good standing, with extensive knowledge of Catholic liturgy.
• Strong ability to integrate liturgy with musical expression in a school environment.
• Keyboard proficiency and familiarity with liturgical service-playing techniques.
• Choral conducting experience and group vocal technique skills.
• Knowledge of both contemporary and traditional sacred music repertoire.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English; Spanish fluency required.
• Ability to communicate musical concepts to a diverse student population.
• Performance proficiency in both keyboard and voice.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with clergy, staff, students, and volunteers.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Professional demeanor with the ability to maintain poise and focus under pressure.
• Prior experience in a Roman Catholic school or parish setting preferred.
• Respectful and supportive of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church.

Compensation: Salary is commensurate with certification and years of service.
