Summary of Responsibilities
The Interior Designer gathers information from the sales staff and the client to create accurate drawings, ensuring a precise estimate for the project. After the sales staff closes the contract, it is this individual’s responsibility to complete accurate construction drawings, coordinate all activities related to the actual project including material, labor and subcontractors. This person is responsible for maintaining customer satisfaction throughout the project by means of the contract.
Essential Functions
Assist sales staff at contract signings, conduct customer interviews, take measurements, and create conceptual drawings.Meet with trade contractors and send concept drawings for project estimates.Provide trade contractors with project specifications, including fixture types.Complete construction drawings as per agreements, ensuring they meet permitting requirements and company policies.Maintain customer satisfaction throughout the project.Upon job acceptance, prepare the job for construction, finalize contracts, and complete the job folder with the Operations Manager.Attend a pre-construction meeting with the salesperson, lead carpenter, and homeowner to discuss details and potential issues.Order special materials, ensuring timely delivery and selection with the homeowner.Stay within the parameters of the projects budget and timeline.

Degree in Design related field (preferred)
Chief Architect proficient (preferred)
2020 Software proficient (preferred)
