We are seeking a talented and experienced Philanthropy Communication Strategist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of philanthropy, excellent communication skills, and a passion for storytelling. They will play a critical role in enhancing the TGH Foundation's visibility, engaging donors, and advancing our mission through strategic communication initiatives.
Functions:
Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies to effectively convey the impact and importance of our philanthropic strategies.Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, program managers, and development teams, to identify key messaging priorities and align communication efforts with organizational initiatives.Create compelling content, including press releases, articles, blog posts, social media posts, and newsletters, that effectively communicates our mission, values, and impact to various entities.Cultivate relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure media coverage and raise awareness of our organization's mission, vision, and values.Oversee the design and production of marketing materials, ensuring consistency in messaging and branding across all.Monitor media coverage and industry trends, providing insights and recommendations to refine communication strategies.Lead crisis communication efforts as needed, managing communication responses and mitigating reputational risks.Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of communication initiatives, utilizing data and analytics to inform future strategies.Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or other related field.Minimum of 7 years of experience in strategic communication, preferably in the nonprofit or philanthropic sector.
