Alliant is seeking an experienced Agency TV Sales Director who will be a key contributor to Alliant’s continued expansion in linear, addressable, and connected TV. This high-visibility position requires the successful candidate to grow and develop strategic relationships across all Hold Co's and Independent TV buying agencies and to promote Alliant audiences for targeting and planning. A successful candidate will have an existing network across innovation and investment teams at advertising agencies that work on TV media budgets. This position is focused on developing relationships with these TV buyers to create and implement a sales plan to exceed budgeted revenue goals. This position reports to the Senior Director of Agency Sales.
Principle Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Senior Director of TV Partnerships and existing Digital Agency sales staff to identify opportunities for growth and develop appropriate forecasts for assigned accounts across targeting and planning.
- Develop relationships with assigned accounts and work with peer agency sellers at key partners to scale Alliant share of wallet in TV buys.
- Identify net new TV platform partnerships to better position Alliant’s audience solutions within TV Agency offerings.
- Generate audience targeting revenue through indirect and direct sales from assigned partnerships.
- Lead presentation and pitch sessions with managed service teams at all agencies.
- Maintain a healthy level of account communication activity, upselling new audience updates, responding to inbound Audience Help Desk requests, providing partner sales team training to exceed 100% of assigned revenue quota.
- Support the Strategic Partnerships team by helping develop business plans to build upon indirect and direct sales through digital TV platforms.
- Implement promotional and training materials for TV programs across all digital and TV partnerships.
- Use Salesforce daily to record sales activity and revenue opportunities.
- Monitor and adapt to industry trends, ensuring compliance with evolving CTV and programmatic standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, or related business field preferred.
- 5-7 years’ experience in addressable TV and audience driven planning.
- Demonstrated mastery of, and passion for, the art of selling data-driven audience targeting and planning solutions.
- Full understanding of the current TV advertising industry from CTV to DDL and beyond.
- Consistent track record of exceptional performance, delivering quantifiable impact on company revenue.
- Prior quota-carrying sales experience in a revenue impacting capacity within the TV industry and familiarity with data sales.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining strategic partnerships with TV agencies, publishers, platforms, and brands.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to develop impactful sales strategies that generate significant revenue growth.
- Demonstrates technical acumen, understanding of how Ad tech and Martech is leveraged by customers.
- Working knowledge of audience targeting, email marketing and direct marketing analytics.
- Experience and current relevant contacts within digital agencies.
- A passion for being part of a fast-growing digital business with the ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment.
- Mastery of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience using a Salesforce / CRM database or software applications.
- Ability to travel to industry events, including after-hours meetings, conferences, and client engagements.
- Must be flexible, detailed, team-oriented and committed to having a good time while doing a great job.
We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 - $130,000, complemented by a sales commission plan. Final compensation will reflect the candidate's unique skills, experience, and qualifications.
