Middle School Music/Chorus and High School Chorus Teacher:
Do you have a passion for sharing the power of music and helping students find their voices? Gilford School District is seeking a full-time, dynamic Music and Chorus Teacher for the 2025-26 school year to inspire and engage students in middle and high school with the joy and creativity of music. If you're excited about fostering musical talent, leading both middle school music and chorus classes, and guiding a vibrant high school chorus, this is the perfect opportunity for you! The successful candidate should seek to create a collaborative, innovative, and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to explore musical concepts, work together, and develop their vocal abilities. A focus on teamwork, creativity, critical thinking, self-expression and self-direction is essential to nurturing students’ growth as musicians.
What We’re Looking For:
- A love for music and teaching
- Experience working with middle and high school students
- A creative and inspiring approach to building strong, confident singers
- The ability to foster a fun, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
What You’ll Do:
- Teach engaging music classes to middle school students
- Lead a passionate high school chorus, creating a sense of community through song
- Help students develop their musical talents while nurturing their love for music!
