Job Description: SEO/CRO Project Manager

Orbit Media Studios is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Optimization (SEO/CRO) team. This work focuses on growing established brands after their websites have already launched.

In short, we set a 3-10 year high-level vision. Each month, we strategize more deeply through audits, exercises, experiments, and content plans. Then we act, distributing work between (1) our Optimization team, (2) other Orbit teams, and (3) the client’s in-house team.

As Project Manager, you’ll collaborate most closely with a Senior Digital Strategist who sets and interprets a vision. Project Managers coordinate creative (writer/editor) and technical (analyst/developer) team members, who make these visions a reality. As this process unfolds, the Project Manager is responsible for provisioning tasks, deadlines, hourly budgets, scope creep, and communication.

The job responsibilities include:

• Act as the first point of contact for clients
• Keep internal and external teams informed and motivated about the work
• Partner with a Senior Digital Strategist to ensure measurable results
• Coordinate tasks, deadlines, budgets, and scope for multiple brands
• Implement minor website changes directly via an administration panel
• Interpret website requests and align them with our strategic vision
• Maintain positive relationships across marketing and IT departments
• Leverage and improve our centralized process model

The skills required include:

• 5+ years of project management experience in digital marketing
• Strong relationship management skills
• Ability to manage multiple teams on task and budget
• Clear and kind communication of complex ideas
• Passion for collaboration and measurable success
• Excellent organization and deadline management skills
• Professional writing aligned with AP Style Guide
• Proficiency with tools like Google Workspace, Teamwork, and Slack

Preferred additional skills:

• Experience in a digital agency, especially SEO/CRO
• Basic web development skills (HTML/CSS)
• Familiarity with WordPress, Drupal, or similar platforms
• Understanding of web technologies

Compensation includes:

• Salary: $70K - $85K, depending on qualifications
• Performance-based bonuses
