Overview
As an Associate at our firm, you will play a critical role in providing strategic direction and leadership across multiple projects. This position combines oversight of project execution, client relations, and collaboration with consultants while contributing to the overall success and growth of the firm. The Associate will work closely with Project Managers, Job Captains, and the Principals to ensure that projects are delivered with excellence and align with the firm’s goals, values, and standards.
Provide clear and effective leadership to Project Managers and Job Captains, guiding them through all stages of project execution. Foster the professional growth of team members through mentorship, support, and strategic direction.
# Act as a key point of contact, providing updates, managing concerns, and fostering a positive client experience throughout the project lifecycle.
# Oversee on-site observations, ensuring that projects are progressing according to the design intent and meeting quality standards. Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with the approved design.
# Collaboration with Consultants: Work closely with external consultants to integrate their expertise into the project. Facilitate smooth coordination between internal and external teams to ensure cohesive and efficient project development.
# Competence and Design Skill: Demonstrate strong technical proficiency and design skills, ensuring that the firm's work meets the highest standards of quality, creativity, and sustainability. Firm Support: Display a commitment to the success of the team and contribute positively to the firm's culture, fostering an environment of collaboration and growth.
# Apply sound judgment and decision-making skills to navigate complex project challenges. Resolve issues effectively and efficiently, maintaining project momentum and ensuring the successful completion of goals.

# Proposal Writing: Lead or participate in the development of compelling project proposals, ensuring that the firm’s capabilities and design strengths are effectively communicated to potential clients.
# Employee Recruitment: Participate in the recruitment and hiring process, helping to build a talented and diverse team. Support efforts to identify, attract, and retain the best talent for the firm.
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field.
~8-12 years of experience in landscape architecture, with demonstrated success in project management and client relations.
~ Strong portfolio of completed projects, showcasing leadership, design, and technical expertise.
~ Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and other industry-relevant tools.
~ Ability to mentor and guide team members to support their growth and professional development.
