Job Description
LOCATION: Onsite in Seattle, WA
DURATION: 6 months
PAY RANGE: $21-26/hour
TOP SKILLS:
- Strong background in verbal / written communication and coordination
- Familiarity with Salesforce.com & Excel Tools
- Experience managing a reactive, ticket-based request system
The successful candidate will possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills, the ability to complete a high volume of varying tasks and projects quickly, and a track record of prioritizing work effectively, taking fast action on escalations while maintaining composure.
The candidate will demonstrate customer obsession, have high attention to detail while still meeting deadlines, have great organizational skills, and have the ability to quickly switch gears when required.
A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals is essential.
Core Job Responsibilities:
- Effectively communicate with and support global authors and publishing partners.
- Partner cross-functionally with business teams to create new policies and processes that ensure a great publishing experience for authors and improve author satisfaction metrics.
- Work globally and cross-functionally to represent authors best interests at every step in the publishing process.
Degrees / Certs and/or Experience Required:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2+ years of previous experience in account management, customer service, relationship management, or publishing environment
- Experience managing a reactive, ticket-based request system
- Familiarity with Salesforce.com & Excel
- Prioritize work effectively and efficiently with tools.
Preferred Qualifications / Nice to Have s:
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- Experience in account management or related roles is highly preferred
- Experience in and/or knowledge of the publishing industry is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, building relationships, and the ability to influence others externally and internally
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multitask
- Proven experience in consistently meeting standards for productivity and quality and dealing with ambiguous situations
- Experience in identifying opportunities to simplify and/or automate complex processes
- Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail
