Job Title: Assistant Community Manager
Location: Onsite in Astoria, OR
Compensation: $20–$25 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Type: Contract (Immediate Start) with Potential for Permanent Placement
About the Role:
LHH Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Community Manager to support the daily operations of an affordable housing property in Astoria, OR. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about community engagement, housing accessibility, and property management. The position is available for immediate start and may transition into a permanent role based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Community Manager in overseeing property operations and resident relations.
- Respond to resident inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Support leasing activities including application processing, income verification, and compliance with affordable housing regulations.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with maintenance staff and vendors to ensure timely completion of work orders.
- Help organize community events and initiatives that foster a positive living environment.
- Ensure the property remains in compliance with local, state, and federal housing guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in property management, affordable housing, or customer service preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software is a plus.
- Knowledge of affordable housing programs (e.g., HUD, LIHTC) is highly desirable.
Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
