As the Associate Director, Global Marketing, TEVIMBRA, you will play a critical role within BeiGene’s recently formed Global Commercial Strategy & Operations team. Specifically, you will develop and execute marketing strategies and tactics that drive the long-term success for TEVIMBRA, BeiGene’s first and foundational marketed asset within the Solid Tumor portfolio. Your responsibilities will require you to collaborate closely with Marketing colleagues across BeiGene Region and Affiliate teams to ensure a common view of business objectives and how Marketing strategies support organizational goals. Under the direction of the Global Brand Lead, and in partnership with the Global Brand Team (GBT) members, you will collaborate on the development and execution of a Global Marketing Brand and Tactical plan that is localized by Affiliate teams. The Global Brand plan supported by related activities should drive a clear, concise and compelling narrative that drives awareness, trial, usage and uptake within the growing number of licensed indications for TEVIMBRA.
As an experienced Oncology Marketer, you will work closely with cross-functional team members including Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Pricing/Access, CDx, and other teams at both above-country and in-country roles. Accordingly this role requires solid functional expertise and also a strong track record of working successfully within diverse matrix teams.
The role reports to the Executive Director, Global Commercial Lead, TEVIMBRA.
Essential Functions of the job:
Coordinate with cross-functional partners inclusive of Medical Affairs, Insights/Analytics, Pricing/Access and other functional team members to inform integrated global strategies and the resulting Global Brand Plan that defines organizational goals and the path to deliver them
In partnership with Marketing leaders across GBT and other core markets, conceive impactful marketing strategies aligned to the overall global strategies; develop the resulting tactics or assets that drive organizational goals
Drive timely development of Medical-Marketing and Digital Promotions deliverables leveraging regional and local market feedback. This will require close collaboration and coordination with the Global Marketing Director responsible for HCP Brand Promotions.
Secure GBT endorsement of key deliverables and timelines, and ensure on-time launch and execution of key milestones via the development of a detailed, tangible and actionable plan
Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to inform global commercial initiatives and assessments
Serve as a global commercial voice and provide marketing thought leadership at key meetings, conferences, or other meetings as appropriate, including advisory boards, KOL engagements, and internal Launch Readiness/Launch Optimization reviews.
Act as a cross-functional leader by integrating execution plans across all BeiGene functions to drive innovative ideas that can support successful indication launches around the globe
Contribute to the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long Range Plan (LRP) processes
Manage external partners and associated budget, e.g. the global Agency of Record, in a manner consistent with timeline and budgetary goals.
Conducts all activities and makes decisions that are in accordance with Company policies, SOPs, and BeiGene values
Minimum Qualifications
7+ years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing/healthcare-related commercial experience, inclusive of 3+ years in oncology/hematology.
2+ years of Global Marketing, Regional Marketing, or New Product Planning experience.
2+ years’ experience leading medical-marketing strategies through demonstrated collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including the identification and profiling of Global Key Opinion Leaders, preferably in the Oncology and/or Hematology space.
2+ years’ experience developing Omnichannel strategies with a focus on digital marketing to support disease-area and product communications through optimized reach across platforms and channels.
Demonstrated experience in implementing key brand strategy/new product planning initiatives throughout the product lifecycle.
Product launch experience, either from a Global-based role or Market-based role
Strong team player and communicator who can incorporate input from key stakeholders (both internally and externally) and drive cross-regional & cross-functional alignment on brand strategies and tactics.
Proven ability to inspire, motivate and lead high-performing, matrixed teams.
Highly skilled and effective in engaging, connecting, and influencing team members across Global cross-functional to local marketing teams.
Strong ability and desire to work across time zones, geographies, and cultures to improve the lives of patients and caregivers.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sciences, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing/healthcare-related commercial experience, inclusive of 5+ years in Global Marketing/New Product Planning for oncology/hematology.
Demonstrated understanding in the reimbursement considerations for medicines across the major markets (US/EU5/Japan/China)
In-country experience in a major market (US/EU5/Japan/China)
Previous international assignments
Education: Master’s Degree in Business (MBA) or other advance degree (Master’s in Health Related discipline; PhD; PharmD)
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Manage external partners as needed to ensure goals/objectives are met in a timely fashion
Education Required:
Doctorate degree & 3 years of marketing experience or Master’s degree & 4 years of marketing experience or Bachelor’s degree & 7 years of marketing experience
Computer Skills:
PC, including MS Office Suite, MS Teams
Travel:
Up to 20% including international travel
