As a part-time Library Page for our Georgia T. Lord Library, you will have the opportunity to utilize your skills to help keep the library's appearance neat and orderly by ensuring all library materials are in their proper place. We will rely on you to help assist with routine clerical duties that will positively impact our day-to-day operations.

- Must be at least 16 years old
- Ability to read and write in English
- Public contact or library experience
- Experience filing alphabetically
- Sort, shelve, and file various library materials accurately according to the library classification system
- Read shelves for accuracy, re-shelve misplaced items, and shift materials as assigned
- Unpack/pack boxes of books and other library materials
- Maintain appearance of work and public areas
- Locate and retrieve library materials from public and non-public areas for library staff or library users
- Check-in library materials using the computerized library system
- Answer directional questions and refer customers to appropriate staff members for assistance
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers using the Library District's Great Expectations customer service model
- Position is typically office or administrative work and is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions
- Ability to exert up to 20 lbs. occasionally, 10 lbs. frequently, or negligible amounts constantly and requires walking/standing to a significant degree
