Role Description
This is a remote / hybrid role for a Social Media Video Editor located in Chicago, IL. The Social Media Video Editor will be responsible for video editing, video color grading, motion graphics, and graphics work on a day-to-day basis.
Responsibilities Include
Edit and enhance video content with smooth transitions, dynamic visuals, and compelling storytelling
Apply color grading, motion graphics, and sound design to elevate video quality
Optimize content for various digital platforms and social media channels
Collaborate with the team to develop and execute creative concepts
Maintain brand consistency while bringing fresh, innovative ideas to the table
Qualifications
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
Experience with motion graphics, visual effects (VFX), and audio mixing
Strong understanding of video pacing, composition, and storytelling techniques
Familiarity with current trends in short-form and social media content is a plus
Creative thinking and storytelling abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
