Position Details
Title: Lead AV Technician - Wyoming/Colorado
Department: Operations
Reports To: Project Manager or Account Executive
Job Purpose
This role involves leading a team of technicians in installing hardware components of AV systems, ensuring all targets are met, and working independently to coordinate, receive, inventory, assemble, and install AV equipment on job sites.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate installation teams, including scheduling and travel arrangements.
- Train and oversee technicians, helping them attain higher certifications.
- Perform physical tasks such as moving and installing equipment, troubleshooting, and repairing AV systems.
- Install and terminate cables, drill for mounting equipment, and work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Adhere to safety and quality policies.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of AV team leadership and management experience.
- CTS certification required or within 3 months of start date.
- CTS-I certification or within 6 months.
- Valid driver’s license with minimal citations.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs, work on ladders, and in various environments.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
