Our client, a startup brand creating a licensed capsule collection, is looking for a Freelance Technical Designer to join their team for an ongoing contract!

Responsibilities: Create Line Sheets Assign Style Numbers according to the coding system Create Tech Packs including Technical Sketch, descriptive sewing details, measurements, initial and final and graded specs, create BOM with appropriate coding and maintain associated files Assist Design with Fit Sessions and Fit comments Work with Design / Artists to create placement instructions for artwork, screen prints, embroidery, sequins, patches etc. Make care instruction recommendations based on the product Create Care Label Layout Properly label and maintain proto / fit sample library Other duties may include: Creating a "How to Measure" guide and "Label and Packing Guide." Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Apparel Design or a related field 5 years of Design or Technical Design experience Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop and Excel Must know how to give factory instructions / make fit comments and respond to factory emails Flexibility with schedule If you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.
