Ministry Description: Lazy Mountain Bible Church is seeking a Media Director to lead our technical and creative media operations, overseeing: (1) Production of weekly services including sound, lighting, and projection, (2) Website & mobile app management, graphic design, and creative communications, (3) Digital systems administration including database management and security policies, (4) Social media platforms and online streaming services, and (5) Leadership and coordination of media staff and volunteers. Responsibilities: Storytelling & Production Ministry— Oversee and coordinate with the Lead Technical Artist to ensure quality live stream production for Sunday services and special events. Work with Worship Director to support in-house production for weekly services and special events. Schedule, train, and manage volunteers for all productions using Planning Center Software, raising up additional videographers and technicians as needed. Coordinate video production, editing, and post-production for church events, missions, outreaches, and storytelling content that shares how God is at work. Research and develop annual media budget including technical infrastructure needs. Creative Design, Marketing & Visual Communication— Lead creative direction and maintain brand consistency across all visual elements, platforms, and church communications. Collaborate with ministry staff to create engaging content for teaching series, events, and their specific ministry goals. Work closely with the Worship Director to ensure seamless visual integration in worship services. Preview preaching calendar and develop creative content that assists congregation learning and engagement. Research current design trends to keep LMBC's visual presence fresh and compelling. Technology & Community Building— Research, implement, and maintain software/platforms that connect the church community, working with the Lead Technical Artist on implementation. Collaborate with all ministry staff to provide strategic technology solutions for their needs, with special focus on supporting the Worship Director. Provide strategic direction while the Lead Technical Artist handles troubleshooting and training. Oversee data collection and analysis to assess media and technology effectiveness. Continually explore emerging technologies and platforms that benefit LMBC's mission. Social Media & Digital Presence— Oversee quality content across all online platforms and social media accounts, managing church digital presence. Create and oversee devotional and engagement content throughout the year. Monitor analytics and metrics to optimize digital outreach effectiveness. Collaborate with Administrative Assistant on content distribution and posting. Media Arts Team Leadership— Conduct bi-annual training for Media Arts ministry emphasizing service excellence and Christ-like character. Supervise and mentor the Lead Technical Artist, providing technical and spiritual guidance. Recruit volunteers from Connect classes and provide discipleship opportunities as needs arise. Celebrate team contributions and foster a creative, collaborative culture that encourages innovation. Miscellaneous: Proficient with Microsoft, Adobe, Planning Center, Proclaim, Bubble, Resi Reports to: Executive Pastor Direct Reports: Lead Technical Artist Works with: All Staff, Closely with Worship Director Scope of Work and Compensation: This is a full-time salary position. Salary range: $45-60K; Compensation based on experience and qualifications. Vacation benefits are as follows: 0-5 years = 21 days paid 6-10 years = 28 days paid 11-15 years = 35 days paid 16+ years = 35 days paid / 14 days sabbatical Paid Holidays: New Year's Day, MLK Day, Presidents Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. If ministry responsibilities prevent taking these days off, an alternative day within the same week may be taken.
