We seek an experienced and innovative Video Producer to set up a new studio and lead the development and execution of high-quality video and audio content. In this role, you will drive creative storytelling, manage complex productions, and provide strategic video solutions to help internal clients achieve their business objectives.
This is a 3-month project opportunity with the potential for an extension. The role is full-time onsite in Washington, DC.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full lifecycle of video/audio projects, from planning and budgeting to execution and publishing.
- Collaborate with internal clients to translate business objectives into compelling visual storytelling.
- Lead high-level video projects, including concepting, storyboarding, scripting, and directing.
- Manage and execute on-location and remote video productions, ensuring technical excellence.
- Conduct video interviews with internal clients and coach senior leaders for on-camera performances.
- Edit and enhance existing video footage while directing the creation of new content.
- Mentor and guide project team members in delivering creative, high-quality productions.
- Manage Zoom recordings and remote shoots, integrating multiple recordings for simulive webcasts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in film, media, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 8+ years of experience as a video producer, with expertise in corporate video production.
- Strong background in supervising and directing creative talent, including C-suite interviews.
- Experience managing on-location shoots, including lighting, sound, and camera operation.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Encoder, Final Cut Pro, and other editing tools.
- Ability to operate professional video/DSLR cameras and related production equipment.
- Strong client relationship skills with the ability to assess needs and provide creative solutions.
- Expertise in leading remote video productions and Zoom recordings.
- Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills.
- Strong business acumen to align creative work with strategic objectives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
- Working some nights and weekends may be required.
