We are currently seeking a Sr. Communications Leader will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the strategic vision of APi Group's communication portfolio.
Collaborating closely with the Marketing and Communications team, APi's executive team, other APi Group departments, as well as individuals from our family of companies, you will help develop, expand, and maintain high-impact communication from APi Group. Your efforts will focus on promoting and amplifying initiatives that inform, educate, and inspire our target audiences, while continuously aligning communication efforts with APi Group's Central Premise.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
To include, but not limited to the following:
Proactively identify and develop messages and content, working closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts, to promote and amplify initiatives that inform, educate, and inspire target audiences. In partnership with the Director, Marketing & Communications, you will lead the vision and strategic direction of the communications portfolio for APi Group. Create and implement content management strategies to support the 2025 intranet upgrade, taking full ownership post-completion to continue fostering a unified, innovative communication platform. Develop, implement, and maintain content management strategy, governance, and guidelines for the company intranet In 2025, APi Group will be upgrading our intranet spaces to make one space that is more field-friendly, global, and breaks down silos between countries and companies. The Sr. Communications Leader will have a key role in this project and then continued responsibility of the intranet post project completion.
Create engaging content in various mediums and manage delivery via our digital workplace platform and messaging tools to ensure communications are tailored appropriately for audiences and align with content strategy. Prioritize and effectively manage communications that reinforce our Central Premise: As Leaders, we recognize that our success happens only when our Branches and Field Leaders are successful. All of our people are foundational to creating value. Collaborate with senior level executives to translate business results into impactful talking points, content, and speeches. Partner with subject matter experts to create narratives, messaging, and other communications materials. Ensure cross-functional alignment on key messaging. Continuously learn and provide recommendations for refining APi Group's communications portfolio in response to evolving market trends and best practices. Serve as a strategic advisor and provide communications support to APi Group companies customer-facing pieces, company leader memos, and other items. Develop relationships and work effectively with APi Group departments and family of companies. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree 7-10+ years of communications experience Experience working with senior level executives Excellent written and verbal communication skills Polished presentation abilities Ability to write and edit content quickly for a variety of audiences High computer literacy with capabilities including email, Office, PowerPoint and related business and communication tools Ability to self-start, be flexible, and prioritize on a day-to-day basis, as well as handle rolling deadlines and last-minute requests and changes Navigate translations Benefits and Compensation:
This role will be based out of our New Brighton office. The pay range is $94,400.00 - $142,400.00, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for annual bonus and profit sharing based on company performance in addition to other benefits that support the total well-being of you and your family.
