smartdept. is searching for a Sr. Visual Designer for an eCommerce client. The ideal candidate will come with 5+ years of experience. This is a part-time/project-based, fully remote, contract opportunity with the possibility of an extension. Compensation for this position is expected to be $47-$57/hour depending on experience level and fit.
What You’ll Do:
- Create high-quality visual designs for website, social media, and marketing campaigns.
- Experience working with homepage banners and social media content.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in home decor, e-commerce, and social media.
- Use a variety of software programs to create graphics, motion graphics, images, concepts, etc.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
What You’ll Need:
- Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in home decor, e-commerce, and social media.
- Strong understanding of visual design principles and techniques.
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and After Effects.
- Familiarity with Animation or Motion Graphics.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Previous experience working for Home Decor, Furniture or other eCommerce brands is a plus.
