GENERAL SUMMARY
Responsible for planning and implementing paid and earned social influencer initiatives within an integrated marketing communications agency. Includes senior-to-mid level strategic campaign planning and execution; social influencer research, recommendations, outreach and contract negotiations (for paid influencers); ability to identify and ideate for social influencer opportunities to meet client objectives. Successful candidate will be able to collaborate closely with other agency disciplines, utilize social influencer management platform (such as CreatorIQ), have a working knowledge of all the top social media platforms – including how to optimize each platform and best KPIs for each – and have a working knowledge of the legalities involved in influencer campaigns.
Day to Day:
- Strategically executes influencer marketing campaigns and implementation at an advanced level.
- Mid-Senior level strategic project planning and execution, including campaign development, budgets, timelines, and results/ROI evaluation, measurement, coverage clipping and reporting.
- Close collaboration with counterparts in other agency disciplines (event marketing, media, account management, strategic planning, etc.) to identify opportunities and ensure alignment with client strategies and objectives for achieving business success.
- Client management and communications.
- Identify best client programs for social influencer support.
- Research and identify appropriate social influencers for designated programs according to established criteria.
- Conduct earned influencer outreach.
- Negotiate and contract with paid influencers.
- Develop original concepts for social influencer campaigns.
- Contribute creative approaches for identifying and working with social influencers to increase their impact on supporting client objectives.
- Consult legal for compliance with legalities associated with influencer efforts and campaigns.
- Keep up to date with social media trends; actively learn and stay in the know on all things social influencer marketing.
- Undertake continuous analysis of competitive environment, specific to social influencer engagement.
Experience: 6-9 years’ experience in marketing/public relations and advanced level experience and knowledge of influencer marketing; consumer/lifestyle experience required. Agency experience a plus.
Education: Bachelor’s degree; Study focus in Marketing, Public Relations or Communications-related field preferred; study focus in other areas also acceptable if the candidate has applicable work experience.
Skills and Abilities: Strong social influencer relations skills. Strong initiative-taking and problem-solving skills. Exceptional writing skills a must. Must have a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence. Must have the ability to exercise good judgment; think and act strategically. Should be detail-oriented and have the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously on a senior, strategic level. Have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, be proficient in MS Word and PowerPoint and have an intuitive understanding of excellent client service.
Additional information
Compensation Range: $73,910.00 - $116,380.00 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
