This position reports to the Head of Life and Disability Marketing, who, in turn, reports to the Head of Product & Field Enablement Marketing for Individual Markets.
Candidate Responsibilities
The individual will work in collaboration with the Marketing leads, Product Development teams and Distribution sales team to set a strategy for ML/MLDI line of business all to meet the objectives of the business through the development of core marketing collateral as well as initiatives including, marketing programs, sales campaigns, digital & email marketing, presentations, direct mail, newsletters, pitch books, etc. The individual will need to stay abreast of marketing, and consumer/employee engagement trends, product specifications and the driven environment, to bring fresh ideas for program development.
Responsible for creating the marketing strategy for ML/MLDI line of business
Evaluate, revise and develop materials used to support the sale and distribution of the manufactured products
Create product content stories for consumers and advisors
Develop digital post or assets for consumers
Collaborate and communicate effectively with partners to deliver content and communications
Ensure compliance review and approval of content is achieved
Multi-task, listen and activate on plan.
Lead print and digital inventory for Product Marketing business lines
Functional Skills
Strong knowledge of marketing standard processes
Strong creative writing ability
Familiarity with social media and marketing automation/technology within financial services industry
Familiarity with traditional print, social and digital marketing tools standard processes
Works effectively with associates in Marketing and across the Individual Markets and Corporate Communications
Strong presentation skills to sell ideas/proposals to customers.
Strong teammate. Willing to assist colleagues and adapt (and ability to work with freelancers).
Attention to detail that ensures overall success (accurate referencing, using tools to ensure appropriate collateral appearance in all mediums, proofreading, etc.)
Leads multiple projects with multiple deliverables simultaneously
Ability to embrace changing business priorities and environments.
Passion for ongoing improvement of marketing tools.
Success Measures
Establish and track important metrics relating to sales campaigns and materials
Ensure items are updated prior to expiration.

Position Qualifications
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Communications
Proven experience in marketing
Multi-channel marketing experience a plus
Individual or Group marketing for disability or Life products a plus
Project management education a plus
Location
This role is hybrid with 3 days a week in our Hudson Yards NYC location
Salary Range:
$101,180.00 - $166,220.00
The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
