Job Description
This role can be based in New York City NY, Chicago IL, or Bellevue WA.

We are looking to hire a Principal Product Owner - LinkedIn Marketing Solutions to join our organization and execute the vision, strategy and key initiatives for our LinkedIn Sales Technology team. This includes leveraging a diverse team to bring big, ambitious ideas “to life” while collaborating closely partnering across Software Engineering, Data Science, Technical Program Management, Design, other Product Managers, and business stakeholders to set the vision and deliver outcomes to achieve critical business needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead diverse set of customers, stakeholders, and engineering teams to deliver large programs or major product releases.
- Define and execute a multi-year strategic product vision, presenting recommendations and insights to senior leaders.
- Define key features or products, create roadmaps, and drive engineering teams to achieve that vision.
- Applying knowledge of B2B sales systems and technologies, including their architecture (e.g., workflows, APIs, runtime characteristics, design limitations, and maintenance requirements) into solutions.
- Collaborates with engineering on selecting technologies and making architectural decisions, ensuring agreement on the technical strategy.
- Identifies when the technical design of a feature is complex, hindering performance, scalability, extensibility, and our capacity for future innovation. Evaluates the impact of emerging technologies on feature applications.
- Balance business needs with technical constraints, prioritize projects, and manage all stages of the product lifecycle from concept to delivery.
- Develop and document business and system requirements, gather feedback, and build consensus across sales and engineering for successful product delivery.
- Develop business cases, quantify business impact, and propose solutions to reduce system complexity and improve data integrity.
- Maintain initiative trackers and communication channels, and influence change management strategies.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years' experience in Product Management, sales systems, or technical project/program management
- 10+ years' experience B2B Sales and/or B2B Sales Operations
- Salesforce Certification(s)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building enterprise platforms (e.g. Anaplan, Salesforce, Dynamics, WalkMe, compensation tooling) particularly in the Go-To-Market space for global companies that have scaled teams
- MS degree in a technology-related field
- Procuring, customizing, integrating, deploying, and managing major B2B Sales technologies for both launch and migration
- Experience building web products with a demonstrated ability to drive product planning, development and launch
- Strong understanding of best-in-class B2B sales tooling technology and tools
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with and understand technical subjects and emerging technologies and their relevance to the marketplace
- Ability to manage and lead across highly cross-functional teams
- Ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $153,000 to $250,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
