Little, nationally recognized as a “Best Firm to Work For” and one of the nation’s most progressive design firms, is seeking a Senior Design Architect with a positive, collaborative work style, who will work in our Healthcare Studio in our Charlotte, NC office.

The individual selected for this opportunity will be working with clients on projects of varying size and scope, with the opportunity to work with a team dedicated to advancing breakthrough ideas through design. The types of work include any solutions our clients may need, such as interior fit outs, renovations, equipment/infrastructure replacements, and ground-up projects. Project types include, but are not limited to, master planning, interiors, ambulatory healthcare centers, diagnostics & specialty care, all levels of acute care medical hospitals, and behavioral health.

Responsibilities/Qualifications:

1. Experience creating and developing overall design concepts and formulating design presentation strategies with understanding of multiple project typologies;
2. Healthcare project design experience;
3. Ability to follow a project from concept design through design development and construction documents;
4. 7+ years of professional experience including proven track record of project design leadership;
5. Architectural Registration;
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
7. Strong leadership, management and mentoring skills. Offering guidance and leadership;
8. Proven track record of success in maintaining and growing client relationships;
9. Strong, persuasive communicator with excellent presentation skills and the ability to communicate complex design concepts to clients;
10. Ability to develop collaborative relationships across the firm, with clients and other key constituents;
11. Solid understanding of materials, construction processes and detailing;
12. Proficiency in Revit with the ability to use AutoCAD, Microsoft Suite, Sketch up, Photoshop, In Design, Illustrator, PowerPoint;
13. Motivated self-starter and works well in a collaborative environment.
