JOB PURPOSE:

Videographers/Producers are responsible for creating engaging video content and playing a key role in live sports productions. They are part of the Midco Sports team and contribute to the top-tier content that establishes Midco Sports as an elite regional sports coverage provider.

KEY FUNCTIONS:

1. Assist in the production of live sporting events and original programming for Midco Sports.
2. Participate in concept creation, effective writing, various production techniques, videography, and editing.
3. Operate cameras, editing equipment, and perform other duties in a live sports environment.
4. Use non-linear editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
5. Contribute to content development for social media and live broadcasts.
6. Direct and produce local and regional content.
7. Present creative ideas and explain production methods to team members and external contacts.
8. Follow operating procedures as directed by management and engineering.
9. Operate and drive a company vehicle in accordance with Midco policies, maintaining a safe driving record.
10. Display Midco’s Core Values and Leadership Success Drivers as a role model.
11. Adhere to privacy guidelines to protect customer information.
12. Maintain regular attendance as required.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree in journalism, television production, advertising, or equivalent experience preferred. Minimum three years of relevant experience required; experience in sports or news is a plus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The role may require reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting loads up to 50 lbs. Work environment noise is moderate. Extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, may be necessary based on business needs.
